Contraindications: 
  • Patients on anticoagulant therapy shouldn't be prescribed pau d'arco due to the potential warfarinlike action of naphthoquinones at high doeses.

  • Avoid with known allergy/hypersensitivity to pau d'arco, its constituents, or members of the Bignoniaceae family.
